Is KYBELLA® treatment right for me?

KYBELLA® is a treatment that is not recommended for everyone. If you are pregnant or nursing, you should not be using KYBELLA®. At the same time, if the accumulation of fat does not cause your double chin, for example, you have loose skin under your chin, or you have a small chin or jaw bone, then a KYBELLA® treatment is not suitable for you.

What is the downtime after a KYBELLA® treatment?

Unlike plastic or cosmetic surgery treatments that usually involve going “under the knife,” non-surgical procedures will mean you are in and out of a doctor’s office relatively quickly. KYBELLA® treatments typically take only 20 minutes, allowing you to return to work or home.

How long will it take to notice results after a KYBELLA® treatment?

It takes up to 6 weeks after your first treatment to notice desirable results. In most cases, you will need between 2 and 4 treatments to achieve optimal results. The sessions often depend on the person. Some people can remove all the fat in their neck in a single treatment, while others may need up to 4. If you are required to return for a second session, the next treatment should be done 8 to 10 weeks apart.
